I created this shake for Premier Protein, because I love the accessibility and quality of their pre-made vanilla protein shake. It has 30 grams of protein and 1 gram of sugar…and tastes amazing! It’s great for on-the-go nutrition.

1/4 cup pumpkin puree (homemade or canned)
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed, optional
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

I am allergic to some nuts cashews being one. Can you substitute with almond butter or peanut butter without loosing taste or function?
Hi Melissa! I can’t believe I wasn’t notified of your comment- Ugh! So, to answer your question, yes to both. You can use almond milk easily – even almond butter instead of the cashew butter. Now is the perfect time to make this!
Made this with my 3 year old this morning used 1% milk is what I had but was thick yummy and filling. My kids loved it.
