I believe food is best in its original form…as much as possible. This video will teach you – in two minutes – why the yolk was meant to be eaten with the white, what it can offer your body, and a quick strategy to ensure you have protein as a snack ready in the fridge for the week!
Do you remember the time when eggs were labeled as “bad”? Can you ever believe it was so?
I just want to thank you for helping me to change my brain about food. You are getting me excited to eat heathy.
Andrea, that is the best compliment ever – exactly what my goal is! To change thinking, because health starts in the head:) Thank you girl!
As a Renal dietitian working with home dialysis patients, I always tell them to keep hard cooked eggs in the refrigerator on easy access shelf
Thanks for the simple tip on having the eggs peeled. I know the yolk is great for them, but I have told them if they want they can sometimes
only eat the white. However, better option is to put tobasco sauce(just a dab), on the egg and eat it –not enough to burn, just increase the taste.
thanks for your blog.
Marilyn, thank you for what you do for your patients! I know you must be very important to them. Great advice you are giving – making health one-step more achievable and approachable! Please consider this website a home. Your comments are always welcome. Have a great day!
For years, I would only have 1 hard boiled egg a week for fear of high cholesterol, well NOT anymore!!
I absolutely love all your tips, video’s, etc!!! Thank You so much!!!!!
Kathy, this THRILLS me to hear! Okay, remember though, the best way to lower your cholesterol naturally is a few main things: 1.) Omega-3s (either take a high-quality supplement, or eat salmon/tuna). These not only lower your bad cholesterol, but they raise your good cholesterol. 2.) SOLUBLE FIBER – oatmeal! Eat it every morning with no added sugar. If you can, just do a natural sweetener like a banana, or add protein powder to it….you’ll feel amazing. 3.) Spinach. Eat 2 cups everyday along with lunch or dinner. 4.) Eat a handful of blueberries every day. 5.) Garlic. I know this is a tough one; including it daily is difficult. There are some high quality supplements….I can give you recommendations, but nailing those other 4 would be awesome for you!!!!!
