#7 on my healthiest foods for spring….STRAWBERRIES. Earlier I mentioned about strawberry’s heart health benefit, and what 8 strawberries a day can do for you. But I often hear (and experience myself) the frustration of those foods that are oh so good for us….and they go bad so quickly!
You know why? Because they are filled with living enzymes. That’s the way the Creator made them. So, the very thing that makes them go bad quickly is the very thing that makes them good for us. Huh. It makes it hard to get upset about that! I want to provide you with simple kitchen habits that WILL make a difference in keeping those foods around.
So next time you purchase strawberries, do this with half of them…
