Glo-Getter Detox Fruit Salad

The beginning of anything great always needs to start with a big breath of fresh air…or that sounds like a good theory, huh? Fresh thinking, a reset metabolism, a renewed perspective. Well, this fruit salad always seems to be paired with resolutions…it’s great to fix over and over at the beginning of the year when you have felt weighed down with heavy foods. Pineapple has anti-inflammatory benefits, kiwi’s nutrients protect DNA, and pomegranate is amazing for blood health. Plus, it’s so gorgeous…I find myself taking this to every winter gathering and I always leave with an empty bowl! This combination was made up by my inspiring niece, Gracie. Thank you Gracie!

Ingredients

3 cups fresh pineapple chunks (or more…however much you cut off a ripe, sweet pineapple)
3 ripe kiwis, peeled and roughly chopped into large chunks
1/2 cup pomegranate seeds

Preparation

1. Mix pineapple and kiwi in a sering bowl. Sprinkle pomegranate arils on top.

2. EAT!

*I like this Detox Fruit Salad at room temperature, but other people may prefer it cold. Either way, store it covered in the refrigerator until you’re ready to serve it. The great thing is that none of these fruits will change color nor oxidize in the waiting process!
